Grow Your Blog

A special welcome to all of my new visitors following the "Grow Your Blog" blog hop.  A special thanks to Vicki at 2 Bags Full for organizing this again. I believe this is the third year and it is such an undertaking to make it all happen.  Be sure to visit her to get a list of all the blogs that are participating.

My blog is about quilting of all things.  I love to quilt, especially things for my family.  My grand kids are the recipients of many of my projects.  They always seem to like the quilts and bags and wall hangings that I send them, and that makes me happy.

I am not a professional quilter, but I am on a quest to become a better one.

I joined two BOM's this year in order to try different things and so far I am enjoying it.  It will help in my goal to get more done this year.

Please browse through my posts and I hope you enjoy yourself on your visit here.

I will be having a 'give away', which will be 5 purple print fat quarters.  All you need to do is leave a comment to be eligible to win.  I will draw a name on February 14th so make sure you leave your email.

Good luck.

  5. Hi, Terry, it's nice to meet you! I'm a quilt person, too, and enjoy living in the country and mountains of Idaho. This year I'm doing two different BOMs for the first time. So far, so good! Learning some new skills and meeting new online friends. Stop by Mountain Quiltworks if you get a minute.

  6. Hi Terry! I'm visiting from GYB and would love to be included in your give away for the purple fabric. I'm an occasional quilter, so I'm also very much a beginner, but I love the peace that comes from hand quilting. I'm also a grandma and hope to complete one quilt for each child!
